The villa was absolutely wonderful! My friends and I had a great time staying there. Hans was able to greet us and is a very nice host; great communication and recommendations. The caretakers on the property are very kind people and were able to help us with any requests. The villa is complete with everything we needed and very clean. The view is breathtaking. A local fisherman also came by with fresh lobsters, fish, and crabs. The dog is also very sweet and gentle. I would definitely recommend the place! From: USA

Wonderful Location. Hans was very nice and the care taker was available at all times. There is a family dog on site to protect the property. The site is unbelievably beautiful and there's people that go fishing and we bought 9 fresh lobsters at very decent price. I recommend the visit. From: USA

Shhh... Can you keep a secret? Villa Punta Coral is a perfect waterfront vacation spot if you'd love a private natural setting located right on the huge Samana Bay, near a small town & several beaches. Shaded porches front & back catch cool breezes, and big windows give views from all rooms of water, open sky, trees, private pool or wildlife. Large, lovely, clean & airy rooms and bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, daily housekeeping & grounds care provided by the local couple, who live in a cottage on the grounds... Surrounded by beauty, this open-air home is yours to enjoy as you explore the beaches, adventures & breathtaking scenery in the vicinity. ~But don't tell everyone, it's a hidden treasure, our secret! We keep coming back! From: USA

We stayed at the Villa Punta Coral for 15 days. It was amazing. This was our first time in the DR but everything went smooth and Hans was very helpful. The house was very clean and maintained daily. Amazing view and continuous breeze all day. The housekeeper and his wife were very kind and helpful as well. We have rented a car and went to the beaches almost everyday. It takes about 10-15 minutes to the beach. No security concerns at all. One advice, don't exchange your money at the airport. You can do it at local banks by the bigger supermarkets in Las Terrenas, Samana or other cities for a much better rate and all you need is your ATM card.

After 6 months of planning we made the trip to this amazing Villa in Sept 2017. We were transported to the Villa from SDQ by Hans the property manager (who was incredibly helpful both before and during the trip..thank you Hans!). We were scheduled to stay for 15 days but our trip was cut short by Hurricane Irma after only 6 days. We were promptly given a refund for our unused portion of our car rental and given a rain check (that we will definately use) for the remainder of our stay. I thought that was more than fair. On the Villa..all I can say is wow! What an amazingly beautiful home and location. The home was VERY clean and comfortable and the pool was amazing. The care takers were very friendly. They do not speak english so it will help if you speak a little spanish but not necessary. One tip, do your shopping for your stay in Santo Domingo as there is very limited shopping in the area of the Villa. Do yourself a favor and stay in this paradise, you won't regret it. I don't and cannot wait to return!

The house is wonderful - large, airy, beautifully decorated, privately located - with waves crashing close by. The caretakers are friendly and accommodating. With a car, Las Galeras is 10 minutes away with everything you could need without being too touristy. It helps to speak Spanish or French, but isn't necessary. Cindy, the host, stopped by to welcome and acclimate us to the area and is easily accessible for questions. You can easily spend your days at the house, relaxing by the pool, or exploring the Samana shore and countryside. I would not hesitate to recommend this house, or come back ourselves - it was an absolutely lovely week we spent there.

This trip was my first time to the DR, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. As we pulled in the simple 2 track road entering the villa our excitement starting growing. Beautiful palm trees aligned both sides of the road, and then we saw the gorgeous thatched roof of this beautiful home, a well kept lawn and the smiling faces of Hans, Sandra and Radhames. The home was absolutely gorgeous, very open and extremely well kept. The view from the back porch is something from a magazine. Just gorgeous blue water colliding with rugged black rock. (The sunrises will take your breathe away.) It was just far enough away from town that it was your own private getaway, but it was a simple 5 minute drive to Las Galeras. But, the kicker and what will have me coming back time and time again is the wonderful family that maintain the home. Radhames, his wife Sandra and their son were so welcoming. Radhames was open to barbecue, point us in the right direction of the beaches we wanted to see, or just stop by and visit with a fine cigar. Sandra was a wonderful cook and always kept the house extremely clean. And their son was such a joy to hear laughing as he ran around playing with their family dog, Keba. They were all so welcoming and accommodating that within the first couple nights we all just became good friends. They were never pushy, but the type of folks you just wanted to be around. So, to sum it all up. The house is perfect. Gorgeous views, gorgeous weather, and wonderful, wonderful people.

We are just finishing up our stay here at Villa Punta Coral and could not wait to write a review about this lovely amazing property. After arriving late we were greeted by Sandra and Rhadames. What amazing caretakers. They took care of our every need and greeted us each day with smiles.Rhadames grilled us lobster one night and I swear it melted in my mouth. Sandra was wonderful and makes everything so fresh and clean. She did our laundry a few times and we were thrilled with how fresh it smelled. The house is huge and has a breeze that flows right thru so it was never really hot. The pictures do not do enough justice to the beauty of the villa. The pool was perfect size and was great for late night dips. We had a tropical depression come thru and got the most amazing videos of the waves crashing up on the rocks. This place is perfect and so close to our favorite little town of Las Galeras. Hans was awesome. He was there for any questions or translations we needed which made our stay even more relaxing!!!! Thanks Hans, Rhadames, Rhadimil and Sandra. Also a big thanks to Keba, this beautiful dog made us feel perfectly safe and amused us with her antics. Best vacation ever!

Wow. We have just returned home to the UK after staying at VIlla Punta Coral for ten days with our three teenage children. I cannot say enough about this beautiful property and surrounding land. We literally have found paradise. So, the booking? We booked through HolidayLettings but you can go directly to their website and book. Hans, the manager got back to us very quickly with our booking confirmation and gave us lots of useful info about nearby supermarkets and excursions. He was fantastic and we can't thank him enough. There are onsite caretakers who were very lovely and kind and cleaned the house and looked after us very well too. The villa itself is stunningly beautiful. It takes your breath away when you see it. There's a terrace with a big dining table. We had lunch outside many times looking for whales in the ocean as we ate and chatted. The swimming pool is a lovely size and very cooling on the wonderfully hot days we enjoyed in The Dominican. There is a private beach which is quite stunning too. The waves crash against the coral rock and you almost have to pinch yourself to believe your surroundings. Inside the house it is very comfortable. It's also very clean too. We always stay in villas and cleanliness is one of the first things I look for. It is spotless. The bedrooms are very comfortable and it was like home from home to us. It was our first visit to the Caribbean and my husband has a policy of never going to the same place twice so that we can travel the world and see and experience different things. This time we have arrived home and discussed moving here to live. WE LOVED IT THAT MUCH! The wifi was the best we have ever had on holiday. It was perfect in fact. That impressed us very much, particularly the kids who seem to rely on it ever more.CONTINUED...

... CONTINUED...The area itself it stunning. Las Galeras beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen and it's a short drive from the villa. There is a lovely little cocktail bar on the beach where we drank pina coladas from pineapples and rum from a coconut! Heaven!! We visited Playa Rincon which was a favourite with my husband and kids. The sea is warm and turquoise blue. La Playita is beautiful too. There are plenty of lovely restaurants in the area but one in particular that stood out to us was La Marseillaise. We dined there twice a day many times and their Nutella crepe are to die for! To conclude, this was literally the best holiday we have ever had. The villa, the management/ onsite caretakers and the surrounding area made it the most perfect holiday and we are still talking about leaving the uk and living here. Driving down the street and hearing Caribbean music and seeing people living simple lives was very appealing to us. My kids have iPads/pods/ phones.. You don't need that stuff here. It is a country of outstanding natural beauty. It makes me think that half of the world is doing it all wrong.... I have arrived home and all I see is concrete. We WILL return to this villa and thank you once again Hans.

We stayed at Villa Punta Coral for about 14 days and we loved it !! The beautiful house, colonial decor with an outside patio, the refreshing pool , the view of the blue ocean and the coconut palms made everything very heavenly. Every morning we woke up with the sound of the waves and the wind rustling through the trees. From the terrace house we were able to spot whales at regular basis. The care takers were very lovely, attentive and helpful. they took care of everything and they made us feel like home and we felt very secure. Close by you can visit amazing beaches such as : El Rinc

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our 9 night stay here at the villa in July SO MUCH. Everything about the stay was perfect. The house was even better than expected from the pictures and it included every thing you could possibly need to enjoy your stay here, we were pleasantly surprised to find a big cooler that we used daily to take our lunch and drinks to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils as well. Our favorite meal was cooking breakfast in the morning and then enjoying it outside on the wonderful patio that overlooked the ocean. The house also had a good wireless connection that came in handy so that we could get tips on what to do from Hans, the house manager. He was very helpful in answering all of our questions and getting us whatever we might have needed in a very timely manner. Our first night we had trouble finding the house (we had no GPS) and we were able to contact him at 11 p.m. and he came and met us in town and we followed him to the house. The town of Las Galeras is a very cute town and not very far away from the house either. Once you learn the lay of the land, its not that hard to navigate around, and we had a car that enabled us to easily get where we needed to go. Our favorite beach that we discovered was Playa Rincon and we went there almost daily. On the way we would hit up our favorite fruit stand to buy fresh mangoes, passion fruit, pineapples and most importantly-the BEST pina coladas ever. 2 things I recommend doing are going to the water fall Salto Limon and having dinner at El Cabito in Las Galeras. El Cabito is a very secluded restaurant that is built on a cliff and it overlooks the ocean and has the most breathtaking views. The most important thing about the villa is that it has 24 hour on site security by a very friendly family that lives on location, not once did I feel unsafe during our stay. Everything about it is perfect and we will definitely be back in the future! Thanks so much Hans ๐Ÿ™‚

What else can I say that the other comments haven't mentioned. This place blew us away. When you think about not having air conditioner you wonder if it will be comfortable, wow with that breeze from the ocean and the big ceiling fans there was no need. Radamir and Sandra were the best house porters you can imagine. They are so helpful and willing to assist in all your needs. You are so close to playa rincon, playita and even cayo leventado. The local "bodegas" have all that you need. You must rent a four wheeler to cruise the town. Thank you so much Cindy for hanging out with us and given us such a great experience. See you next year.
